Student Governance Policy

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the official representative body for all students of Atlantic Cape Community College. Established under College policy, the SGA works to advocate for student interests, support student organizations, promote campus engagement, and collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance the student experience.

Through the Student Senate, the SGA oversees student organization recognition, allocates student activity funding, develops student-focused initiatives, and encourages leadership development throughout the College community.

Atlantic Cape Community College is committed to providing an inclusive environment in which all recognized student organizations are open to participation without discrimination and operate in accordance with College policies and procedures.

Student Government Association Constitution

The Student Government Association (SGA) Constitution serves as the governing document of the Student Government Association at Atlantic Cape Community College. It establishes the organization's purpose, structure, membership requirements, officer responsibilities, election procedures, and operational guidelines.

The Constitution is designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective representation of the student body while providing a framework for student leadership and governance.

All SGA officers, senators, committee members, and representatives are expected to uphold the principles and provisions outlined in this document as they work to serve the interests of Atlantic Cape students.
