Lunar New Year Boba Shop in the Stem Lobby on March 5th. This event is lunar new year themed. We are serving Taro, Brown Sugar, Mango, and Strawberry. 16 oz cups

This event is to introduce more people to the popular and mainstream asian drink, boba tea. Boba tea originated in Taiwan, consisting of a tea base, milk, sweeteners or flavors, and chewy tapioca pearls. In Taiwan, it has been around since the 1980s. One of its originating stories is when Chun Shui Tang added tapioca pearls to iced milk tea in 1988. By 1990, the drink had gained popularity in other parts of Asia, the United States, and Europe. It is now a staple Asian drink.
