SGA Bus Trip to New York City! 🗽🚌

Join the Student Government Association for an exciting bus trip to New York City! Spend the day exploring one of the most iconic cities in the world. Whether you want to visit Times Square, enjoy sightseeing, grab great food, shop, or explore famous landmarks, this is your chance to experience NYC with friends.

⏰ Arrival Time: 6:30 AM
🚌 Bus Departs: 7:00 AM
🏫 Return to Campus: Approximately 9:00 PM

Some Things to do in  NYC - Times Square

Free:

• Visit Rockefeller Center - many places to shop, eat, and sightsee

• Bryant Park - offers a nice place to walk and often plays free movies for many to watch as well as seasonal events

• Grand Central Terminal - nice place to take pictures, adventure bakeries, restaurants, and places to shop

• Walk the Highline - near times square and perfect route to take to adventure neighborhoods and see wonderful views

• (Some might be a bit of a walk from times square - but very worth it) - free museum or pay what you want: Met, MoMA, Museum of NY
  
  Museums:

• Museums of ice cream (lower manhattan - might need to take the subway) - limitless amount of ice cream, unique sweet treats, sprinkle pool!

• American Museum of Natural History (upper west side manhattan - subway might be required - if you don't want to walk too much) - vast exhibits, dinosaurs, planetarium, blue whale, etc

• Color Factory - (Soho manhattan - subway might be required - if you don't want to walk too much) - art exhibit with lots of colors, interactive activities, etc
  
  Shopping: 

• Soho - (lower manhattan - subway to make trip shorter) stores in soho area

• Uniqlo

• Abercombie & Fitch

• Adidas

• Brandy Mellville

• Carhartt

• Charlotte Tilbury

• Sephora

• Woorijip ($10-20) - yummy, affordable korean food

• Los Tacos No.1 ($10-20) - quick, yummy tacos, affordable

• Maman ($10-20) - offers breakfast, lunch, and dessert/pastry options as well as drinks

• Kbap and wings ($20-30) - korean food located in midtown manhattan, traditional korean dishes, and korean fried chicken

• Raku ($20-30) - udon dishes, japanese
