Join us for a powerful and meaningful conversation with Holocaust survivor Frances “Fran” Malkin, who was born in Sokal, Poland (now Ukraine) in 1938. During the Holocaust, Fran, her mother, and members of her family escaped the Sokal ghetto and survived in hiding on the farm of Francisca Halamajowa, who courageously sheltered 16 Jewish individuals until liberation in 1944.

After the war, Fran immigrated to the United States in 1949. Today, she shares her story to help preserve the memory of those who lived through the Holocaust and to honor the bravery of those who risked their lives to save others.

This special program offers a rare opportunity to hear firsthand testimony from a Holocaust survivor and reflect on the importance of remembrance, resilience, and humanity.
